18th Annual Rattlesnake Master Run for the Prairie

About the Race

Race begins on Race St. near Clark-Lindsey Village just south of Windsor Rd and ends at the Garden Pavilion in Meadowbrook Park. Park in the area near the Meadowbrook Garden Pavilion.

parking lot diagramThe 5K run/walk will traverse Meadowbrook Park one and a half times before returning to the finish line. The 10K race will be directed south on Race Street into the Yankee Ridge subdivision before returning to and circling Meadowbrook Park. The course for all races ends in a short trail run through the prairie.

Race starts at 9:00 am. Don't forget the time change.



No dogs, strollers, or hiking poles. No refunds. You must be present to win door prizes.

Packet Pick-up:

Race packets may be picked-up noon-5:00 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31 at Body n' Sole, corner of Rt. 45 South and Curtis Rd., 1317 Dunlap, Savoy 61874; (217) 356-8926.

Packets will also be available at the Race Street pavilion at Meadowbrook Park on the morning of the race at 8:00-8:45 a.m.

Race Day Registration

Race day entries accepted from 8 – 8:45am. Registration located at the Garden Pavilion in Meadowbrook Park.

Awards and Post-Race Activities:

The awards presentation and prize drawings are held at the Garden Pavilion. Food and beverage free to participants.

The top three male and female participants in each age category will receive an award. Overall male and female winners will receive a matted prairie photograph and certificate. Walk awards are co-ed.
