20th Annual Rattlesnake Master Run for the Prairie - Results

On the first Sunday in November, Grand Prairie Friends sponsors and organizes the Rattlesnake Master Run for the Prairie. This 5K run/walk and 10K run allows local athletes an opportunity to race through the prairie at Urbana's Meadowbrook Park and to raise money and awareness of GPF's conservation mission. A wonderful cadre of volunteers spend many hours before and during race day to make sure everything runs smoothly.

Sunday morning, November 5, 2016, was a gray and drizzly day, but 172 participants still showed up and walked and ran. Chip timing was used for the first time.
