Join us at the annual spring membership meeting and learn about the global natural history phenomenon that is the monarch butterfly and its annual migration to Mexico. Also, discover what you can do to make sure this epic migration continues into the future. His recommendations on how to best help the threatened monarch butterfly may surprise you!
Over the span of his career as an entomologist, Michael Jeffords has observed, studied, and taught others about butterflies. He is a retired Sr. Professional Scientist from the Prairie Research Institute, University of Illinois. He co-authored "Butterflies Of Illinois: A Field Guide" with Susan Post and James R Wiker.
