About the event
Join us to steward and enjoy Warbler Ridge Conservation Area. We meet at the red shack on Daileyville Rd and will be removing invasives (probably garlic mustard) along Warbler Ridge Trail.
The area where we are working will be posted on the shack door if you arrive late.
We will be working near the historic McKenzie-Waltrip cemetery so plan to drop by.
Directions: Take Route 130 south from Charleston for approximately 3 miles to Daileyville Road (CR 1470 North). A brown hiker sign is posted at Daileyville Rd. Follow Daileyville road 1 1/2 miles to the gravel parking lot on the right. You will see the red barn and shack.
What to Bring: Appropriate clothing – long pants and shirt, work shoes and gloves. Bug spray and suntan lotion recommended based on the season.
Drinks, snacks, and good friends provided.
Please RSVP then we can communicate weather cancellations. Updates on weather will also appear on Facebook.
