About the event

Warbler Ridge encompasses over 1100 beautiful acres that needs continued care. Our volunteers make it possible to steward this natural gem with limited staff. In addition to the traditional volunteer opportunities of invasive control, bat citizen science, and trail walking, we are offering new roles in 2025 to help with trail stewardship, maintaining deer fencing, and leading bus tours for assisted living residents.

Deer fences are finicky and often require small fixes, such as trimming the plants that touch the wires. We are recruiting a team of volunteers to each walk a designated portion of the fence row monthly and check for issues, fixing what you can and reporting more complex issues. This role is ESSENTIAL to protect our 90,000 baby trees!

Please register for training to be part of the Electric Fence Maintenance Team using the RSVP button.
