Time & Location

May 10, 2025, 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM

Warbler Crossing, 17487 Bypass Rd, Charleston, IL 61920

About the event

This is a repeat of the hike happening on April 13th. In case that walk was full or you couldn't make it, this is your second chance!

In case of bad weather, our rain date is Sunday, May 24, same time and place.

Here are just a few of the interesting things you’ll learn as you accompany local botanists (Nancy Coutant and Wilson Montgomery) on a guided walk on the trails of Warbler Ridge:

· See how many different mosses we can find and learn about the moss life cycle

· Find the early blooming liverleaf and discuss the "Doctrine of Signatures"

· Look for the edible spring beauty
