About the event

Hear Nature’s Story at beautiful Warbler Ridge Conservation Area.  

Join us for Grand Prairie Friends Open House on Saturday, April 30, from 1pm-4pm at the red shack on Daileyville Rd, 3 miles south of Charleston.

Festivities will include:

·  Live story-telling with Kathleen Brinkmann (bio)

·  Self-led story hikes

·  Nature crafts

·  Narrated nature walks

·  Naturalists sharing knowledge of local plant and animal life

·  Live animal guests from Douglas-Hart Nature Center

The first 100 guests will hike the book trail and select a children’s nature book.

This event is FREE and open to all ages.  Indoor facilities available in case of bad weather.
